Kinsey will be here before we know it! We went in for our second medical ultrasound today. They said everything looks perfect. We were a little concerned because a while ago she was measuring over 2 weeks bigger, then at our last big medical ultrasound she measured 1 week bigger and today she measured 1 week smaller than her due date... This concerns us for a couple of reasons 1) Why is she slowing down? 2) Is our due date even remotely correct? We have no LMP so we went purely on size on the first two ultrasounds that put our due date about 10/22 or 10/23. Who knows when this baby will come or how big she will be now. We are staying calm about this for a few reasons 1) We see our new OB on Thursday and they are planning on doing their own U/S so we will see what they say... 2) The tiniest movement one way or another changed the reading by a week or more 3) The tech said she was still completely in the normal range 4) That range was LARGE! I mean it said it could range anywhere from 25-29 weeks!
I will admit I am still a little nervous... made the mistake of doing some google-ing... which should be outlawed for all pregnant women... So now I am just going to stay calm until Thursday and see what they say.
On a more positive note... she was absolutely adorable. She looked so much like Ashlyn at this stage in my first pregnancy. Poyer nose, thin lips, sweet hands up by her face... (looks like very long fingers which probably means Mommy's toes too). Here are pictures to compare.
The second one is Kinsey. It is a picture taken with my phone so I will definitely get it scanned in so you can see better but I can see the resemblance.
